Resume

Employment

Instead of listing responsibilities for each of my positions, I have decided to tell you about my experience in a more descriptive way.

Hopefully, it will spike your interest and we will be able to discuss the details in person/via phone.

I would also like to mention that even though most of the projects I took part in were in the banking/financial industry, I am eager to work on projects/products from other industries.

Nowa Era (Apr 2024 - PRESENT)

Senior Business Analyst

Currently I am taking part in a project in the education industry as part of an international Tech Hub.

Sii Poland (Jun 2022 - Mar 2024)

Senior Business Analyst

At Sii I acted as a Business Analyst in a B2B oriented project for an international (the team is located in the USA) transportation company.

Before I was moved to a Client within the logistics industry, I was part of a sizeable B2C and B2B oriented project in the e-commerce industry (international news agency). Similarly, the Client's HQ was located in the USA.

CRESTT (Aug 2021 - Jun 2022)

Senior Business Systems Analyst

At that time I worked on a large CRM project for one of CRESTT's biggest customers.

Apart from my role as an analyst, I am also tasked with coordinating the project's test team and, additionally, the process of integration and user acceptance testing.

Britenet (Nov 2020 - Aug 2021)

Senior Business Systems Analyst

At Britenet I was part of a unique team that merged the banking and the insurance industries into one scope.

The goal of the project was to create a system that unifies the services of numerous service providers (in this case, insurance companies) and then integrates them. The functionality was an extension on the customer's already existing systems and apps.

The venture was exciting and, at the same time, challenging due to the fact that there were lots of involved parties and the needs of the customer had to be met on a specific timeline.

Sellions (Jul 2020 - Nov 2020)

Business Analyst

For a couple of months in 2020 I worked on a small sales management project for a company in the FMCG industry.

Rydoo (Apr 2019 - May 2020)

Product Analyst / Proxy Product Owner

Rydoo is a software as a service app that allows employees to plan their business trips and register expenses that occur during these trips. Hungry for more product-oriented projects, I joined the team as a product analyst and was responsible for gathering and processing requirements related to the mobile part of the app.

Soon, I took up the role of a proxy product owner where I was responsible for roadmapping, planning and expanding the travel-related part of the mobile app. However, Rydoo being a travel oriented product and with the start of the covid pandemic in mind, the company was forced to terminate its cooperation with numerous employees, including me.

ITMAGINATION (Jun 2016 - Apr 2019)

Software Analyst

After a couple of months I became a fully-fledged software analyst and for a while I continued working on the internal ERP system.

More months passed and (in ca. May 2017) I was moved to an external team where, at first, I was responsible for, i.a., leading discovery workshops for potential customers. The business subjects of the projects varied greatly - these included simple mobile apps as well as extensive banking systems.

Then, in December 2017 I was asked to take part in a product venture led by the owners of ITMAGINATION. I agreed and for the next six months I was a product analyst for the JustDrive app.

Though the app was a great success, the project was ceased due to external factors. I then continued working on projects for ITMAGINATION's customers.

Quality Auditor/Junior Software Analyst

My adventure in the IT industry began with me working on a position that combined quality assurance and business analysis. I worked on testing and researching new functionalities for the company's internal ERP system.

Education

Here you will find information regarding my formal education, as well as any additional courses that I have completed so far.

Polish-Japanese Academy of IT (2016 - 2022)

Computer Science

Even though I enjoyed the game development course and I still was a fan of video games, once I began working at ITMAGINATION I grew fond of business applications. Hence, I decided to continue my education in the field of computer science.

Game Dev School (2015 - 2016)

Game Development

As a way to pursue my interest in video games and in the video game industry in general, in 2015 I committed to a one year long course focused on game design and game programming using various engines (Unity, Godot, Defold). This allowed me to hone my programming skills further.

University of Warsaw (2012 - 2015)

Applied Linguistics

Once I received my high-school certificate, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in translations. My professional goals have since then changed but I believe that the language knowledge I obtained is a great asset in the IT industry, especially in international work environments.
